My mission is to share my journey as a believer in hopes of encouraging, inspiring, and uplifting Christian women new to the faith. Whether you're a babe in Christ or seasoned in your walk, I hope that your desire to deepen your level of intimacy with the Lord is increased.
My prayer is that The Prodigal Daughters' Daily is a warm and intimate space where vulnerability, authenticity, and personal stories are appreciated. What is The Gospel?
IT'S THE GOOD NEWS!
The Bible teaches us that we have all sinned against a Holy God. Romans 3:23 (KJV) states, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
There is a price to pay for our sins—a debt we can never repay. Romans 6:23 (KJV) explains, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
The good news is found in John 3:16, which says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Those of us who believe will be saved. Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) tells us, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
